Why
begin at nothing, when nothing doesn't exist
Look out into empty darkness, look out in to brilliance of light
Start not at either source, but let your heart go on Gods course.
In the beginning He was there, He was there when the beginning occurred,
The beginning had not been, but God was there - where can one start,
without seeing God, where do we end without seeing Him there.
Can we escape Him? Can we conceive him? We can't conceive
nothing, even if we tried - how then can we start to imagine nothing
when nothing is only nothing.
We pursue blindly when our first cause is not God, we pursue foolishly
when we honor stars, wind and the earthly things of this world.
Do we not ask who made these? Do we not reckon their detail is too much
for mere chance. Perhaps, a second gaze, or perhaps one last glance
We can never come to the end of it, the awesome world created by God!
